- We do not collect or store CE Code text, CSA copyrighted materials, or proprietary regulatory content.
Usage & Technical Information
- Interactions with features and tools.
- Device type, operating system, browser version, IP address, and similar technical data.
Analytics Data (Firebase Analytics)
Collected in aggregated form, including:
- Page views
- Feature usage
- Session duration
- Device type and performance metrics
We configure Firebase to avoid collecting personally identifiable information and do not send project data, calculator inputs, or form entries to analytics.
Payment Information
- Processed securely by our third party payment processor (Stripe).
- We do not store full credit card numbers.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- Process subscription payments and manage billing
- Verify eligibility for certain features where required
- Communicate updates, notices, and support information

We collect only the information necessary to operate the Services.
We do not analyze project data for CE Code compliance, regulatory interpretation, or authoritative determinations.

- To Stripe for payment processing
- To Google Cloud/Firebase for hosting, storage, and operational infrastructure
- To trusted service providers who support our operations under confidentiality obligations

Backup copies may be retained for disaster recovery for up to 30 days.

We prioritize Canadian data residency and configure our systems so that operational data is stored in Canada wherever technically feasible.

- Some technical metadata processed by service providers (e.g., Google Cloud, Stripe) may be handled in other jurisdictions with adequate data protection standards.

- Active accounts: Retained for the duration of the account
- Inactive accounts: Deleted after 24 months of inactivity unless legal requirements require longer retention
